Pack Ahead and Get Some Extra ZZZ’s

Whether you’re going cross country or just away for the weekend, packing the car for a trip can be stressful and time consuming, especially if you have kids or you’re packing an RV, also. But, with a little bit of planning and packing the night before you’re guaranteed to be more prepared and a little less stressed when it is time to leave. Before you begin packing, though, take everything out of your vehicle. This is a great time to clean it out to allow more space for the trip and make sure everything is in good shape, like the spare tire!

Packing the car, or RV, the night before a big trip accomplishes several things. First, it allows you to pack at a leisurely pace so you are not rushed and panicked, leaving you stressed out just before you get behind the wheel. You will be able to hop in your vehicle well rested and relaxed in the morning with your coffee in hand, more able to enjoy the journey, and with more patience to keep the kids happy. (more…)
